Imagine this: a card is freely selected and signed. It’s lost in the deck, with no control and no funny moves. The cards are spread across the table. The moment is over… or so it seems.
Then you reach into your pocket and remove something unexpected: a tiny origami frog. You place it on the table and show how it hops with a simple press of your finger. The room laughs. It’s charming, and impossible not to smile at.
Then you hand the frog to your spectator. “Your frog knows where your card is. Just make it hop.” The frog jumps across the spread and lands on a card. The spectator turns it over… not their card. But when the magician checks the spread, something is very wrong. Their signed card is gone.
All eyes return to the frog. Slowly, the paper frog is unfolded. Layer by layer. Fold by fold. Until the truth appears in their own handwriting: the frog was their signed card the entire time.
